Heyy! I'm Alex, a documentary style wedding & lifestyle photographer!

I’m endlessly inspired by love in its rawest form—by families who dance in the kitchen, newborns in their first light, and couples who want something more than just a pretty photo. I'm a follower of Jesus, and I believe in creating from the heart because He first created me.

If you’re looking for photos that feel like home, I’m your girl.

Soulful...

Photography is more than just images—it's a way of preserving the fleeting, the quiet, the sacred. I’ve always been drawn to the raw, real, and beautiful moments that often go unseen. That’s why I’ve built a documentary-style approach around storytelling that feels emotional, nostalgic, and honest.

Now, as a Northwest Ohio wedding and lifestyle photographer, I’m chasing golden light through backyard weddings & newborn nurseries- and editing galleries with a coffee in hand while my little one naps. But most importantly, I spend my days ensuring that my clients feel seen, known, and cherished. With an approach as heartfelt as your favorite family film and as intentional as the vows you wrote by hand, I consistently deliver galleries that don’t just show what happened—but how it felt to live it.

Heirloom...

Photography, for me, is more than art—it’s legacy. It’s the way your baby’s wild curls looked blowing in the wind, the way your partner held your hand before you said “I do,” and the belly laughs echoing in the backyard that’s held years of memories. I’m here to document all of it: not just how it looked, but how it felt to really be in that moment.

Creating with purpose, serving with heart—this is how I worship.

my philosophy

My mission is to document cinematic images that allow you to relive the wild, sacred,  & in-between moments of your life—whether it’s the day you say “I do” or a quiet afternoon with your newborn. With a gentle, collaborative approach to photography that encourages comfort and authenticity, you can rest assured that your story will be captured in a way that feels real—never forced.

But I also believe deeply in showing up for people—with empathy, love, and care. I create judgment-free spaces where you can laugh, breathe, cry, dance barefoot in the grass, or hold your baby close without worrying how it looks. I’m here to make you feel seen in the season you’re in.

This blend of storytelling with presence defines my photography philosophy. It’s raw. It’s real. And it’s always for you.

Moments That Matter Most...

While it might seem like I’m always behind the camera, my life is fun and cozy beyond the lens. These are the moments that inspire me, shape who I am; and what I do. If  I'm staying in you can find me on my couch watching Castle with my husband while my baby naps. On my days off here in Defiance, Ohio- you’ll usually find me barefoot in the grass at my moms house sampling everything off the grill, taking peaceful evening walks, or soaking in the golden light. If my husband and son join me, we’re probably wandering the farmers market or sharing stories over coffee at Cabin Fever Coffee. And if you spot me there, don’t be shy—come say hello!

But really, I’m here for your story—and I can’t wait to tell it.

“I recommend you to literally everyone. You're the best. Literally in love.”
