Northwest Ohio Wedding Venues
When I was browsing for my own wedding, finding good Northwest Ohio wedding vendors was a challenge in itself, but finding a venue was another story, I really struggled to find a great venue to fit my personality and I don’t want you to feel that way! These are some venues I’ve photographed in that I find to be beautiful no matter the time of year or style of wedding!
Shadybrook Acres Hitching Post
Located in Napolean, Ohio this wedding venue is spacious, and climate controlled, and includes an adorable bridal cottage, a stunning ceremony area over a pond, on-site staff, and more! Anne is amazing and it is one of my favorite venues to photograph!
Located in Lima, OH this venue has a nice open space and a more industrial feel!
DJ’s Serving the Northwest and Defiance, Ohio Area
I worked at a wedding at Shadybrook in Napolean, Ohio with Rick from this company and he was so energetic, kind, and just so so good in general. As a vendor I appreciated him a lot, he was really communicative with me before events, which is always something to look for in a DJ.

Bridal Makeup Artists Near Defiance, Ohio
I cannot say enough good things about Kathryn, she is truly one of the best and so so talented! She used to be located at Downtown Roots Salon in Defiance, Ohio but then moved to Nashville. When I heard she was coming back May 1, 2023 I was ecstatic! Welcome back, Kathryn!
She’s done makeup for several of the weddings I’ve shot and the brides are always so beautiful!

I attended a banquet hosted at Grants Catering Hall in Antwerp, Ohio and the food was soooooo good!
I got to sample them at a bridal show I went to recently, and I was blown away by how good everything was!

I got to try some of her baked goods at a bridal show I set up at, at Shadybrook and I was blown away by how good everything was!
