Before I ever pick up my camera, I pray.
This quiet moment has become one of the most important parts of my process—whether I’m heading into a wedding day, a family session, or documenting a newborn’s first days. It’s more than just a routine. It’s how I invite peace, presence, and purpose into my work.
I pray for intention and creativity, that each moment I capture would be more than just beautiful—it would be meaningful. I want your story to be seen fully, honestly, and with heart. I ask for eyes to notice the little things: the in-between glances, the warmth of a hand squeeze, the fleeting joy in a child’s laugh. These are the pieces that matter.
I also pray for protection, health, and peace—for both myself and the families I photograph. I know how much effort, hope, and vulnerability go into preparing for a session or wedding, and I don’t take that lightly. I want to honor your time and energy by showing up fully and safely, with a clear mind and a grounded spirit.
But above all, I pray that somehow, through this experience, you would feel known and loved—not just by me, but by the Lord. Whether faith is a part of your life or not, my hope is that you walk away from your time with me feeling seen, encouraged, and a little more connected to what truly matters.
Photography is my job, yes—but it’s also my ministry. It’s my way of serving others with the gifts I’ve been given, and I never want to forget the why behind the work.
So when you see me pause before I start, or take a deep breath between frames, know that I’m quietly lifting up a prayer—for you, your story, and all the beauty that’s unfolding.
